King Triton is the father of Ariel and the king of the sea.
About Him[]
He is the mighty king of the sea and the father of Ariel and her sisters in The Little Mermaid. Originally, he hated humans because humans were responsible for the the death of his beloved wife, Athena. After her death, he was forced to raise their seven daughters on his own, forbidding contact between merpeople and humans. He is a muscular merman with a long white (formerly red) beard, long white (also formerly red) hair and a green tail.
