Anthro Dinotopia is PrinceBalto's fanfiction adaptation of author James Gurney's Dinotopia series. While just about everything is the same, there are a few differences. The main one is that Dinotopia has a powerful king ruling it instead of a senate. This is done to make things a tad more interesting and to insure that the story isn't just a copy of the original. The other difference is that instead of humans living alongside the dinosaurs, it is all sorts of anthropomorphic animals (in this version, this is a world inhabited entirely by anthros).
Story[]
As with the original story, this fanfic is set on a fictional island called Dinotopia, which is the only place in the entire world where dinosaurs did not go extinct. Living alongside them are a group of anthros descended from those who had been shipwrecked on the island many years before. The king of Dinotopia is the housecat Thomas O'Malley, and his queen is Duchess. They have several children, Danny, Toulouse, Marie and Berlioz. The antagonist is Cat R. Waul, who is portrayed as Thomas' younger brother (a nod to a Youtube friend of PrinceBalto's using Thomas as Mufasa and Cat as Scar in his spoof of The Lion King).
